DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes Focus (m/f/d)
mogenius is the leading self-service platform that simplifies Kubernetes and boosts developer productivity. We secure reliable workflows for DevOps teams and developers. As a DevOps Engineer, you take on a key role in a fast-growing company with big ambitions, working closely with the entire team on decisions that shape the mogenius platform and our developer community.
Responsibilities
- As part of the DevOps team, you build and maintain a modern, scalable IT platform ensuring security, efficiency, and optimal tooling for development and operations.
- You work on customer projects and support their infrastructure and DevOps teams.
- With your cloud expertise, you play a central role for all topics around IT and cloud infrastructure and solutions.
- You automate, optimize, and innovate existing and new cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code.
- You develop disaster recovery scenarios and test them thoroughly.
Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in developing, administering, or operating SaaS solutions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and GitOps workflows; experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD/Flux.
- Working with Docker containers is second nature, and Linux is more than just an operating system.
- You have worked with Kubernetes for several years.
- Solid knowledge of Helm, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Solid expertise in application support, monitoring and logging, build and deployment, scripting, databases, and networks/firewalls.
- Genuine interest in automation and process optimization.
- You use modern AI tools naturally, but with the necessary care.
- You enjoy working in a team.
- Good German language skills; English is a plus.
- Completed training as IT specialist, a university degree, or comparable professional experience.
- A Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is a plus.
